On Liturgy, Tradition and Innovation

The prolific James KA Smith has penned another informative article on the issue of whether tradition is an obstacle to innovation. Far from seeing a dichotomy, Smith very insightfully gives the reader pointers on how the traditions of the Church, particularly those in liturgy, actually are occasions for innovation, in terms of transforming the world to something other than the status quo tries to dictate.
